Alexandra Josephson appointed new CEO for

Alexandra Josephson has been appointed to the position of CEO for Schibsted’s weather forecast service She succeeds Åsa Bengter, who recently took over as CEO for Viktklubb and Digital Health. 

Alexandra Josephson joined Schibsted as a management trainee, and has subsequently held positions as marketing and business development manager in and most recently as sales manager in The You Way and My Home. 

“The weather is something we think and talk about every day, and having the opportunity to work in is exciting and great fun. Given the strong position already holds, there is a lot of potential for the product and for advertisers, and we will maximize these during 2016 and beyond,” says Josephson.

“Services and editorial material dealing with the weather represent a key element in our core activities, and is a profitable company that shows a lot of potential for development. We’re in a highly expansive and exciting phase where we’re developing the product and the business. Alexandra has the drive and passion for the product, the market and sales needed to lead and develop this work in the time ahead.” 

Alexandra Josephson will take up her new position in the new year.
