For ten years, the Schibsted Future Report has looked into the future to foresee trends within tech, people and business. In this anniversary edition,  we explore AI and how it might affect our lives, businesses and society. And we look back in history to understand how and why technology has led us to where we are.

What can you expect on stage?

In the fast-paced digital world, the news media industry stands on the brink of a revolutionary shift. AI will shape the future of journalism and content creation. How will this affect the way we consume and produce news?

Ian Vännman, strategy advisor at Schibsted, take us through the latest AI advancements and how they can be applied to create new news experiences.

Lena K Samuelsson, publisher at Aftonbaldet, is preparing her team for the AI revolution. Aftonbladet was at the forefront when news went online – now it is getting ready to become a true online company with its heart and soul in journalism.

Andreas Cervenka, columnist at Aftonbladet and bestselling author, takes on a fundamental question. Could our financial system work differently – is there even a discussion about the effects of capitalism as we know it today? Turns out there is – and the strongest incentive for change is the climate crisis.

Jimmy Heibert, CEO and co-founder of Plick, also joins us on stage. For many young fashion shoppers, Plick is their first encounter with e-commerce – and it’s a circular one. The marketplace has been growing fast since Schibsted invested in 2021 and Jimmy Heibert and his team have a clear goal: “Our mission is to reshape young people’s consumption behaviours.”

Erica Treijs, senior reporter at SvD, author of “The course – ten lessons for sustainable businesses” and experienced host, will lead us through the afternoon.

Ann Axelsson, editor of the Schibsted Future Report, will also join our speakers on stage to introduce the report.

We hope to see you there!
