Schibsted Media’s most important impact on society at large lies within the power of journalism and how we are working for a society built on trust and transparency. We also work actively to reduce the environmental effects of our businesses and have an extensive program to promote diversity, inclusion and belonging.
The Power of Journalism
Journalism is a fundamental force for democracy, and trustworthy fact-based news has never been more important than now. Schibsted’s legacy is built on this and we believe we have an obligation to make sure journalism evolves and survives. Since 2017, we’ve also organised The Power of Journalism event, together with the Tinius Trust, to celebrate journalism, share ideas and discuss important issues.

SvD's work with AI resulted in a new type of journalism that can help us understand what's really being said, and gave them ways to use new tools in the newsrooms (video in Swedish).

E24 revealed the biggest political scandal in Norway in a decade when they looked into stock trading amongst politicians (video in Norwegian).
