Schibsted invests in Norwegian PropTech company Knips

Knips offers a digital tool enabling property developers to communicate directly with potential buyers via various channels during the often complicated and long buying processes.

“PropTech is an exciting area in strong development, and Knips is as ingenious as it is simple,” says investment manager Mats Staugaard and Schibsted Ventures.

Schibsted Ventures is now investing SEK 10 million in the growing company.

When Knip’s tools are used by property developers, valuable insights and data are also generated that can be offered to the customers, making it possible to tailor their leads communication even better onwards.

“This is an exciting investment in an area that is growing rapidly. Knips knows the real estate industry well and manages to combine this with unique tech expertise. Their development has been fantastic,” says Dan Ouchterlony, EVP Schibsted Ventures. The new capital will be used to hire more employees to be able to meet the increasing number of inquiries from property developers.

Lilja M. Hansen Guthu, CEO and co-founder of Knips.

“We are very happy that Schibsted is backing us so that we can continue to grow and meet the industry’s needs for our tool. A real estate project usually lasts for a long period, which is challenging and time-consuming for property developers. We offer a flexible solution to problems everyone in the real estate industry struggles with,” says Lilja M. Hansen Guthu, CEO and co-founder of Knips.
