Gustaf Eriksson has been appointed as the new Executive Vice President of Consumer Business at Schibsted Media. Eriksson comes from the role of EVP of Subscriptions at Amedia, where he has played a central role in the company’s strong growth in digital subscriptions.
Christian Haneborg will become the new Executive Vice President of Advertising Business. Haneborg has broad experience in sales and business development, at Schibsted, and has been leading Schibsted Media’s advertising operations since the autumn.

Gustaf Eriksson looks forward to taking on his new role when he moves from Amedia to Schibsted Media this autumn.

Christian Haneborg, who assumes his new role in May, emphasizes that strong, editor-led media have never been more important – and that they rely on a robust advertising economy.

Moving into a strategic role
Per Håkon Fasting has held various leadership roles at Schibsted for 25 years. For more than a decade, he has been EVP of Advertising and part of the top management team within Schibsted’s media business. Since last autumn, he has also served as EVP of Consumer Business. When Gustaf Eriksson takes over in August, Fasting will step down from the management team and into the role of Director of Strategic Partnerships – a key position for the further development of Schibsted Media.
