The Schibsted brand holds a strong position in Norway’s media and communications industry. According to the comprehensive Industry Report 2014 conducted by the recruitment company Mediabemanning, it is the Schibsted brand that is perceived as the most attractive employer.
As a group, Schibsted has thereby managed to become more attractive as an employer than any of its individual brands, such as FINN, VG and Aftenposten.
“We think Schibsted has done a good job in recent years at being a company that thinks in terms of innovation and development. It was no surprise to us here in Mediabemanning that their common brand came out on top,” says Ole Janzso, partner and consultant in Mediabemanning, which is behind the survey.
Several newcomers
This year Schibsted moves up to top position from last year’s second place behind the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation.
Google entered this year’s ranking and ended up in fifth place.
This year’s survey of the marketing and communications industry is the sixth in a row.
